HOMESCHOOL CURRICULUM

Rooted in Faith. Driven by Excellence.

Course Offerings

At ELLGIHFC, our academic program is designed to bring together the best of both worlds—the flexibility and intimacy of homeschooling, with the structure, support, and accountability of a professional learning environment. Whether you're brand new to homeschooling or simply in need of extra guidance, we’re here to walk alongside your family and help you thrive.

.

Our Core Curriculum: A.C.E.

At the heart of our program is the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum—a Biblically integrated, mastery-based academic model that empowers students to progress at their own pace. A.C.E. is ideal for parents who want to homeschool but feel overwhelmed, short on time, or unsure of where to begin.

Each student begins with diagnostic testing to determine academic levels—not just grade placement—so learning is appropriately challenging and personalized. The curriculum is delivered in small, manageable booklets called PACEs (Packets of Accelerated Christian Education). Students must master the material in one PACE before moving to the next.

Each subject—from Math and English to Science and Social Studies—is taught from a Christian worldview, and includes:

  • Daily goal setting and independent work habits

  • Scripture memory and Biblical character training

  • Built-in reviews and assessments for mastery

  • Development of responsibility and self-discipline

While parents remain the primary supervisors of their child’s daily learning, we provide professional facilitation—including academic coaching, progress tracking, mentorship, and planning—to support your role at home. You’re never alone in this journey.

.

Targeted Supplements for a Richer Learning Experience

To ensure your child receives a well-rounded education, we’ve carefully selected three high-quality supplemental programs that complement the A.C.E. core. These are not electives—they are required and integrated into each student’s academic plan for additional depth and development in key areas.

🟡 Evan-Moor (PreK–6)

Perfect for early learners, Evan-Moor offers daily skill-building in:

  • Phonics, reading comprehension, spelling, math, and grammar

  • Colorful, engaging pages that are ideal for visual and hands-on learners

  • Open-and-go format for easy use at home

It’s especially helpful in multi-grade households and makes daily practice fun and consistent.

🔵 Sadlier (K–12)

A legacy publisher with nearly 200 years of experience, Sadlier blends faith-based values with academic rigor. Programs include:

  • Vocabulary Workshop, Grammar Workshop, and Progress in Mathematics

  • Built-in assessments, clear scope and sequence, and national standards alignment

  • A strong Christian worldview, particularly in language arts

Sadlier is a reliable, structured support system from elementary through high school.

🔴 AdaptedMind (K-8)

A research-based, gamified curriculum for math and reading, with some resources covering up to 8th grade. It adapts to each child’s learning pace, featuring over 300,000 math problems and interactive video lessons.

  • Primary focus on math, but it also covers reading and language arts.

  • Generally ideal for ages 5-12, although younger children (4-year-olds) may use it with assistance.

  • Suitable for homeschooling, math homework help, and filling skill gaps with ~15 minutes of daily use.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, offering an interactive, game-like experience to improve performance.

Electives & Enrichment

We believe education is about more than core subjects—it’s about discovering passions, building life skills, and preparing for the future. That’s why we offer a wide selection of electives.

To ensure academic balance:

  • Grades 6–9 take at least 2 electives per year

  • Grades 10–12 take at least 4 electives per year

Most electives are based on A.C.E. elective curriculum, meaning they are structured, graded, and fully aligned with our academic recordkeeping. Some of our available electives include:

  • Art, Music, Health, Spanish, French, Business Math, General Business

  • Biblical Studies like Life of Christ, Soulwinning, New Testament Survey, and Greek

  • Speech and Communication

Special Electives (Non-A.C.E.)

We also offer unique electives with real-life applications and creative expression:

  • Personal Finance (High School): Based on Dave Ramsey’s Foundations in Personal Finance. Students explore budgeting, saving, investing, credit, debt, and career planning. Includes video instruction, workbook activities, and reflection.

  • Yearbook (All Ages): Students collaborate on designing the EHFC annual yearbook while learning basic layout, design, writing, and photography. This elective includes monthly mentorship and results in a printed keepsake for participating students.

A Partnership You Can Trust

Our program is more than just curriculum—it’s a community of support designed to lighten your load while strengthening your child's education. You’ll have the confidence of expert guidance and the freedom to homeschool in a way that fits your family’s lifestyle and values.

Explore your child’s future with EHFC—where faith meets excellence, and every learner matters.
